Cup Carnival Race Day

The carnival kicks off with a midweek race day. Knock off early and get the crew down to the track.

THU 25 FEB

Calcutta & Golf Day

A day off the track. Tee off at the golf day, then head to the official Calcutta auction that night.

Port Lincoln Cup Day

The big one. Marquees, Fashions on the Field, the Community Club Challenge and the Port Lincoln Cup.

Fashions on the Field

Frocks, hats and plenty of colour. Fashions on the Field is a Cup Day highlight, and you don't need to be a fashion pro to enter. Pull together an outfit you love, have fun with it and get up on stage.

GOOD TO KNOW

Cup Carnival FAQs

Dress up or don't, it's country racing. Most people go smart casual and plenty go all out on Cup Day. Wedges or flats are a good idea as you'll be on the grass, and bring a hat for the sun.
Not a thing. Most people come for the atmosphere, the food and drinks and a catch up. Our friendly bar and tote staff are happy to help if you want to have a flutter.
Tickets and packages will be available online closer to the date. Register your interest and we'll let you know as soon as bookings open.
Sunscreen, a hat, sunnies, comfortable shoes and your ID. A light jacket is handy for the late afternoon sea breeze.
[Confirm] BYO alcohol, glass, eskies and pets are not permitted on course.
Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Under 18s enter free.
Marquees & packages are 18+ only
The racecourse is at 5-41 Proper Bay Road, Port Lincoln.
Complimentary transfers from the Port Lincoln Hotel or Marina Hotel to the Port Lincoln Racing Club are available on Port Lincoln Cup day.
Parking is extremely limited. We highly recommend making the most of our free transfers. Parking is available on the outside of the track along the fence line.
