What is the Lincoln Local?
Every season, Port Lincoln Racing Club puts together a small ownership syndicate around one horse. You buy a share, we sort the horse, the trainer the bills and you spend the season following her with a crew of fellow owners.
Designed to make racehorse ownership affordable, inclusive, and community-based, the Lincoln Local allows more people to experience the thrill, pride, and fun of being part of a racing team.

Trained by Kristy Oyarzun right here in Port Lincoln, Divine Fire is a proven performer with a strike rate most owners never get near. She's carrying the syndicate into her new season with plenty of racing left in her.
Last season's horse, Spangled Sipper, has moved on to race under fellow Port Lincoln trainer Gary Searle. Quite a few of her original owners have already bought back in for Divine Fire's season. Once you're in, you tend to stay in.

Kristy's been around horses since she was 18, cutting her teeth under Colin Hayes and Tony McEvoy before building her own stable here in Port Lincoln. Divine Fire is in good hands, and so is every Lincoln Local owner who comes through her stable doors for a trackwork breakfast or a tour.

Pick your share
One payment covers you right through to 31 March 2027. Training, upkeep, your PLRC membership and owners' days are all in. Every owner gets the same experience, whatever size share you pick.
The easiest way to become a racehorse owner. A 0.5% share puts your name in the Divine Fire syndicate for the season. You’ll get the owners’ lounge, the trainer’s updates and the buzz of watching “your” horse race.
You don’t need to know anything about racing. Every owner gets the same experience, whatever size share they hold.

Divine Fire is a six-year-old chestnut mare trained right here in Port Lincoln by Kristy Oyarzun. With a 1% share you’re part of her owners’ group for the season. That means breakfasts at the stables, Cup Day lunch and cheering her home with the people who know her best.
Every owner gets the same experience, whatever size share they hold.

A 2.5% share is one fortieth of Divine Fire. It’s the biggest single share in the syndicate. When she wins, you’ll feel it.

The syndicate is managed by On Fire Racing Pty Ltd with Port Lincoln Racing Club.
Please read the Product Disclosure Statement before you buy. You have a 14 day cooling off period. Racing is unpredictable and not every horse earns prize money. After 31 March 2027 the owners decide together whether to keep racing Divine Fire, with ongoing costs shared, or sell her and split the proceeds.

No. Most Lincoln Local owners didn't either, before they started. We'll fill you in on everything as the season goes.

No. Think of it as the cost of a night out, buying you a whole season of something to follow and a crew to follow it with. Any prize money is a bonus, not the point.

You still get everything that comes with your share: the updates, the stable tours, the race day hospitality and your PLRC membership. A share buys you the season, not a result.

No. The syndicate winds up at the end of the season and that's it. No renewal, no ongoing costs.

The syndicate managers behind the Lincoln Local are On Fire Racing. They specialise in social racehorse shares, with horses currently based across South Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory, and they handle the ownership side alongside PLRC, from trackwork mornings through to race day.
