Port Lincoln
Port Lincoln boasts one of the world's largest protected natural
harbours, an area three times the size of Sydney Harbour. Due to the

Port Lincoln is homeport to the world's largest fishing fleet with
tuna and marine aquaculture the city's primary industry. With an
estimated annual turnover of $330 million the tuna industry is also
the city's largest employer. Farming and agriculture are also

The City of Port Lincoln (Population 15,000) is 655 kilometres north
from Adelaide on National Highway 1, and then on to Alternative
Highway 1, south-west of Port Augusta.
Port Lincoln is 250 kilometres by air with a flight time of 40/50
minutes. Regional Express & Qantaslink conduct
daily return flights to the city. The airport is located 15
kilometres north of Port Lincoln. Premier Stateliner operates daily
Adelaide/Port Lincoln bus services. |
